Advanced training in neonatal resuscitation

SimNewB is a newborn tetherless simulator co-created with the American Academy of Pediatrics, designed to help improve neonatal resuscitation and to meet the specific learning objectives of neonatal resuscitation protocols.

Focusing on the first 10 minutes of life, SimNewB provides realistic training for critical interventions such as lung recruitment maneuvers and advanced airway management.

Improve ventilation quality

As excessive peak inspiratory pressures and high tidal volumes during manual ventilation can be detrimental to neonatal lungs, accurate feedback on ventilation pressure and volumes during training can greatly improve the quality of ventilation and ultimately patient outcomes.

  • Time to first breath
  • Fractional (inconsistent) ventilation

The updated simulator control interface in SimPad PLUS and LLEAP means you can continuously measure and improve CPR skills.
